When Jette persuaded Jens to have a dog in 1987, it had to be a Dalmatian, as Jette has had Dalmatians during almost all her childhood.

MEMBER OF the DANISH DALMATIAN CLUB and the DANISH KENNEL CLUB

Since 1987 we have been members of the Danish Dalmatian Club and have during the years always been active participants of the club.

We both have been members of the club committee, and for a period Jens has been chairman of the club, and he has furthermore been chairman of the mental testing-committee.  He is still working as leader of some of the Danish Kennel Klubs mental tests.

During some years Jette has been chairman of the Health committee.  Furthermore she has been co-author of the new book about Dalmatians.  The book is edited by  the Danish Kennel Club.

BREEDING FROM KENNEL FRIHEDEN

Through the years we have only bred a few litters;  but when we have a litter we invest all our time in the puppies.

We have been breeding on Scandinavian breeding lines, as Dalmatians from the Scandinavian countries are among the absolute best in Europe; - maybe in the whole world.

A Dalmatian is for us only a real Dalmatian, if both psyke, health and construction is perfect.  It is not a question of one or the other.  All 3 things must be o.k.
